ABOUT JAMES CARROLL
A highly-accomplished director/producer/editor/cinematographer, James blurs the lines between documentary and scripted, elevating production values in nonfiction content while remaining dedicated to honest, authentic, and raw stories.
He recently co-executed produced and lead edited Waco: American Ap. Prior to that, he co-directed Netflix's Night Stalker Documentary Series also Netflix's entire 8-hr documentary series Westside. He was the editor and co-producer of the critically-acclaimed documentary The Seven Five and Operation Odessa.
He has also directed numerous short-form documentaries and served as senior editor on hundreds of hours of television across NBC, CBS, FOX, AMC, A&E, BBC, MTV, VH1 and USA, earning back-to-back Emmys while editing CBS's Undercover Boss.
